Only authorized service personnel should upgrade the system. Anyone who wants to upgrade the system herself/himself should know about the dangers of ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and the necessary precautions. Unknowingly zapping the components of the computer will void the warranty.

1. MEMORY

The correct SIMM modules and memory upgrades are:
A. Four 256K x 9 SIMMs 100ns to expand the memory to 2MB.
B. Four 1MB x 9 SIMMs 100ns to expand to 5MB.

2. MATH CO-PROCESSOR

An 80C287-8 co-processor can be installed, no jumpers need to be changed.

3. CACHE MEMORY

This system does not support cache memory.

4. VIDEO MEMORY

The video memory on this system is not upgradeable.
