1020 Motherboard Setup

The CMOS Setup Utility consists of seven major menus - Standard, BIOS Features, Chipset Features, Power Management, PNP/PCI Configuration, Special Features and Integrated Peripherals. All of these menus are accessible from the main CMOS Setup Utility menu. This section covers all of these menus and their options, including definition and usage of the features. In addition, full screens are provided for illustration.

These illustrations are approximations of the actual screens.

Press <F2> during POST to enter CMOS setup.

Menu Item Options Description
Standard CMOS Setup Accesses sub-menu
BIOS Features Setup Accesses sub-menu
Chipset Features Setup Accesses sub-menu
Power Management Setup Accesses sub-menu
PNP/PCI Configuration Accesses sub-menu
Load Setup Defaults None Resets all CMOS values to their factory defaults.
Special Features Setup Accesses sub-menu
Integrated Peripherals Accesses sub-menu
Supervisor Password User Input Allows the user to set or disable a Supervisor password for CMOS access.
User Password User Input Allows the user to set or disable a User password for CMOS access.
Save & Exit Setup None Saves changes to the CMOS settings and exits the Setup utility.
Exit Without Saving None Exits the Setup utility without saving any changes made to the settings.
