Power Control Menu Options

Power Button:    Power On/Off.

Rest/Resume.

Power-Off Warning Message:    Enable    - Confirmation at power off.

Disable      - No confirmation at power off.

Resume on Alarm:    Enable

Disable

Resume on Modem Activity:    Enable

Disable

Lid Closed/Open:    Rest/Resume    - Goes into rest mode.

Beep/Normal    - Beeps and stays on.
No Beep/Normal     - Stays on.

Auto-Rest Timer:    Disable

(AC Power/Battery)    1 minute increments from 1 to 180 min.

Auto-Standby Timer:

AC Power    - Disable
1 minute increments from 1 to 180 min.
Battery    - Disable
1 minute increments from 1 to 4 min.

Backlight Auto-Power-Off:

AC Power    - Always ON
1 minute increments from 1 to 180 min.
Battery     - Always ON
1 minute increments from 1 to 5 min.

HDD Auto-Power-Down:

AC Power     - This setting is fixed at Always ON.
Battery     - Always ON
60 second
5 second increments from 60 to 200 sec.
1 minute increments from 4 to 5 min.

When changing the settings for the serial port and/or the parallel port, the user will be given the following warning:
Changing data of this field will cause a machine reboot at exit.

The default is no, press the Spacebar then Enter to proceed with the changes.
